I am a graduate student in the Clinical Psychology Psy.D program at The American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University. I received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from San Francisco State University in 2008. In 2011, I received a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University, and will complete requirements for the Psy.D in 2013.

I was born and raised in the Bay Area. My previous clinical experience includes psychological assessment and therapy with a diverse population of adults in outpatient settings. I have also worked with the chronically mentally ill, in community mental health settings and provided crisis intervention.

I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2010. Since joining the Chemical Dependency Recovery Program, I have worked in the adolescent family program and the adult program. I have worked with adults, teens, families and couples. Currently, I provide individual therapy and facilitate different treatment groups, such as the Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Education Group, Women's Psychotherapy Group and a Dual Diagnosis Group for patients with co-existing psychiatric and substance use disorders.

It is rewarding to help individuals recover from alcohol and drug dependency. I enjoy working with patients who are making healthy choices to improve their lives.

Outside of work, I like to read, the outdoors, mindfulness meditation, traveling, and listening to music.

Psy.D Candidate

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
