Welcome to my Home Page

This Home Page was designed to offer patients reliable and informative Health Education materials and let you know a little bit about me.

I was born and raised in Surat on the western coast of India. I completed my Medical School and Pathology residency from Government Medical College in Surat, India. I moved to U.S.A in 1993. I completed my Pathology residency from Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, CA and St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. I completed my Cytopathology Fellowship from Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, PA. I am Board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology by the American Board of Pathology. I have special interests in Neuropathology and Cytopathology.

During Medical school, I was always interested in seeing different tumors under the microscope, which led me into Pathology. I am very glad that I chose Pathology, I really enjoy my work. My practice philosophy is to look at each patient’s slide under the microscope with utmost attention and due diligence.

I have been working with TPMG since July 2000 at Kaiser- Redwood City. I truly enjoy working here at Kaiser Permanente which allows me to practice quality medicine in a supportive multispecialty group setting.

I am a member of the South Bay Pathology Society, American Society for Clinical Pathology, California Medical Association and San Mateo County Medical Association.

When not working, my husband and I are busy with our two children, Nathan and Naomi. I like traveling, cooking and embroidery.

Please feel free to browse on the medical information links on this page.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
