Hello, my name is May N Lee. I graduated from CSU, Fresno with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science with an emphasis in Community Health. I have been working as a Clinical Health Educator with Kaiser since 1998. Before this job, I worked as a Health Educator at CSU, Fresno Health Center, provided safer sex education to college students. I chose to work for Kaiser Permanente because of its excellent reputation and variety of resources. I believe that prevention is the best medication and that is the reason why I truly enjoy what I’m doing.

In Primary Care Medicine, we are committed to helping you maintain your well-being through comprehensive education on lifestyle and health self-management. I work with your primary care physician to assess your educational needs, provide instruction on self-care methods, create short and long-term self-management plans, and refer you to other resources, within Kaiser as well as within the community, if appropriate. I will support you in achieving your healthy goals through healthy diet, regular physical activity, smoking cessation and a number of other important self-care issues. I will help you identify a realistic plan to keep you healthy.

When I’m not working, I enjoy any outdoor activities and spending time with friends and family, especially my children.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
