Welcome to My Home Page !

I completed my residency training in anesthesia at the University of Toronto, Canada, and was on the teaching faculty at Mt. Saina Medical Center, New York City, New York.

I then moved to Southern California and joined Kaiser Permanente where I practiced for the past 21 years. I helped establish the Comprehensive Pain Clinic Program at Kaiser Permanente's Fontana and Panoma City facilities prior to coming to Kaiser Permanente in Fresno.

My approach to treating patients:

Practicing medicine at Kaiser Permanente is, and always was, my first choice because I can concentrate on my patients' care and I can have strong support from my peers and staff.

I love doing anesthesia, but practicing pain medicine also allows me to utilize my anesthesia expertise in nerve blocks while listening to patients' problems/symptoms and making a diagnosis.

My greatest satisfaction is when my patients tells me that their life is much improved after their pain is lessened.

My Credentials

Medical school Universitas Airlangga-kedokteran, Surabaya, Indonesia
Residency University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine, Toronto, ON
Fellowship Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, NY
Board certification Anesthesiology, American Board of Anesthesiology
Board certification Pain Medicine, American Board of Anesthesiology

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
