Welcome To My Home Page
Joined Kaiser Permanente Group: 2008
I am a Clinical Social Worker in the Department of Adult Psychiatry in South San Francisco. As a Social Worker I believe in the core values of my profession: service, social justice, dignity and worth of the person, importance of human relationships, integrity, and competence.
I work with a variety of patients and do Case Management, Individual, and Group Therapy. In addition, I also co-facilitate our McFarlane Group for patients and families dealing with schizophrenia, and our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for individuals needing additional support.
Working in the Department of Adult Psychiatry gives me the opportunity to work on a multi-disciplinary team and in an integrated-care setting, giving our Kaiser members the most effective opportunity for treatment.
With the exception of 18 months while I was getting my master's degree in Chicago I've lived in the Bay Area since 1985. I'm a big believer in self-care and when I am not working I enjoy long walks with my dog, dinner with friends, travel, movies, and reading.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
