About Me

I have spent most of my life in California. I grew up in San Jose and went to UC Davis, where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. From Davis, I headed to southern California to attend optometry school in Fullerton. In school, I gained a valuable experience in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases, interning at VA Fresno, VA Las Vegas, and Camp Pendleton. I graduated from Southern California College of Optometry in 2002 and have been practicing optometry ever since.

I joined Kaiser Permanente, San Jose in 2004 and moved to the Antioch area shortly after. As part of the eye care team at the Antioch Medical Center (Sand Creek Medical Offices), I enjoy practicing optometry at Kaiser Permanente, working together with the ophthalmologist and the opticians, and I invite you to visit us for your eye care needs.

When I am not working, I like to play tennis, take leisurely walks in the park, and relax at the beach with a good book.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
