My Biography

Kaiser Permanente attracted because of its reputation for delivering high-quality health care within a comprehensive model. Kaiser members are part of a single system where all providers have access to patients’ complete medical histories. Health Connect has been a terrific, invaluable tool, one that enhances medical record access. Health Connect is Kaiser’s relatively new electronic charting system.

I appreciate the collegial relationships I have with other clinicians and with staff. I enjoy working with patients to determine the types of physical therapy interventions that will prove most beneficial for them. My experience encompasses both neurological rehabilitation and musculoskeletal orthopedic concerns. Currently, my primary practice area is working with outpatients who present musculoskeletal and orthopedic issues.

Aside from my medical center work, I teach on a part-time basis in Merritt College’s Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program. I also conduct site visits for the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education.

I try to eat healthy by patronizing a variety of farmers’ markets and eating fresh vegetables. I enjoy reading a wide range of literature, participating in cultural events, swimming, bicycling, and running.
