About Me
Lymphedema is a condition that requires understanding and perseverance for best outcomes. Kaiser Permanente allows me to provide each patient with a treatment plan that fits their needs and to provide them the tools and expertise they need to get and stay well. Lymphedema is very treatable and, while it can be an annoying and frustrating condition to have, lymphedema patients are a joy for me to work with. Urinary incontinence is my other professional area of interest, and I work in the Continence Clinic through the Women’s Health Department at Walnut Creek. My goal is to be part of the solution, rather than part of the problem, and make a difference for the better in the lives of others.
If you are interested in learning more about lymphedema, visit the National Lymphedema Network website.
Outside of work, I guest lecture on Lymphedema for the School of Physical Therapy at the University of California, San Francisco. I also speak at support groups in the community. My hobbies and interests include gardening, beekeeping, and native wildlife habitat preservation and restoration.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
