About Me

I am a Diagnostic Radiologist. I specialize in all areas of diagnostic imaging including routine X-Rays, Mammograms, Ultrasound, CT and MRI. I decided on this area because I enjoy problem solving. I consider the Radiologist to be the Sherlock Holmes of medicine.

Radiologists work closely with all other medical and surgical specialists to streamline diagnostic work-ups. I take pride in helping to make the experience in the diagnostic imaging area as pleasant as possible for our patients. This is accomplished through direct communication before and during procedures. In addition, it is the philosophy of our department to provide timely reports to our referring physicians to speed up the evaluation process.

My Credentials

Medical school University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago, IL
Residency Los Angeles County/University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA

My Healthcare Practice

I have been with Kaiser Permanente since March 2004 after many years in a small private practice. I couldn't be happier. It's great to be working with a group of well trained, caring physicians with specialty interests in all areas of radiology. It is reassuring to know that whatever the problem, we have someone who we can turn to for additional expert guidance. It has been my experience that this applies to all the subspecialty departments here at Kaiser Permanente.

Other physicians I have met come from all areas of the country. They represent all the top-notch universities and training programs. Although we have tremendously diverse backgrounds, we all share a common interest in providing our patients with the best medical care available. We are able to practice in an environment that thrives on a team approach.

My Outside Interests

My wife and I are from Chicago. My wife is an attorney with a background in Immigration Law. We like to travel and enjoy outdoor sports such as golf and skiing. Our daughter is a senior at the University of Michigan and our son is a sophomore at UC Berkeley.
