On June 4th, 2012 I will be moving to a new facility which will be located at 1263 E. Arques Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94085. It's only 4 miles northeast of our current Santa Clara Kaiser Drive Medical Offices and offers ample free parking. I'm hoping that my patients and families that I've come to know so well will follow me to our new facility.

I was raised in New Hampshire and attended Boston Children’s Hospital School of Nursing/Northeastern University (Boston, Mass.) graduating in 1976. I then worked in Newborn Intensive Care Units (NICU) for five years in both Colorado and Maine.

Changing the focus somewhat, for the next eight years, I worked in Labor and Delivery units. The first five years this was in New Hampshire. I then joined a travel nurse agency working in various L&D units in South Carolina, Maine, New Hampshire, and several in California. While in California, I met my husband and decided this was a good place to settle down!

I went back to school and earned my Nurse Practitioner Credentials from Education Program Associates through San Jose State University in 1991. I am a certified Woman’s Health Nurse Practitioner with a special interest in Infertility. I joined the Permanente Medical Group in 1991. I am trained in the field of Infertility and Ultrasound through Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara.

Together Dr. D’Amico and I have worked with the National Institute of Health in several of their clinical studies. One of these studies, Efficacy of Superovulation and Intrauterine Inseminations in the treatment of Infertility was published in New England Journal of Medicine (Jan.1999 vol.340 number 3). I was also a reviewer for the book Management of the Infertile Woman by Helen Carcio (1998).

I am married, and share the parenting of three children. I enjoy being with my family as well as traveling, swimming, doing needlepoint, reading and playing with the computer/internet!

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
