Greetings! Welcome to my Home Page!

I am proud to be a member of such an outstanding department and the medical group here at Kaiser Permanente Stockton, Manteca, Modesto and Tracy. I hope that we can always provide best possible quality of care and service to you.

About Me

I was born in Chicago, Illinois. I received my medical degree from the University of Lagos-College of Medicine, Lagos, Nigeria. Thereafter, I finished an internship from Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, Chicago, IL. I completed my internal medicine residency program at Edward J Hines Jr. Veterans Affairs Hospital, Hines, IL. Then I attended a one-year Rheumatology fellowship program from Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, IL and followed by a one-year fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Pittsburgh, PA. I continued my residency program at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, NY and finally completed my anesthesiology residency at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY. I was an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the University of California Davis, for one year. For the past 8 years I have worked in Private practice as an Attending Anesthesiologist.

I am board certified in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. I am also board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

I am fluent in English as well as Swedish. When I am not at work, I enjoy outdoor sports like running and swimming.

My Philosophy of Care

I am firmly committed to the team approach to the delivery of healthcare during the peri-operative period. From the pre-operative visit, through the intra-operative period, and then finally through the recovery period, health care personnel work in concert to provide optimal care to patients utilizing the latest technological advancements that have so revolutionized the delivery of Anesthesia care in the past two decades. This new model makes healthcare a safer experience for the patients, and hopefully, a more pleasant one.

Our entire Anesthesiology Department and I want to be certain that all of your concerns are addressed. If you forget to ask a question during your pre-operative office visit, please call (209) 476-3633.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my home page, and I look forward to working with and for you!
