On this home page, I have included a description of myself and my practice philosophy.

I received my Health Science degree in Community Health from California State University Long Beach in May 2007. My internship was completed at Kaiser Permanente in Downey, Ca.. This experience allowed me to have a passion for Health Education.

I joined The Permanente Medical Group in August 2009. My office is located in the Aspen building.

As your Clinical Health Educator I will teach a wide range of Health Education classes in both English and Spanish and provide individual consults.. I chose Health Education because "prevention" is the foundation to good health.

My areas of clinical interests are patient education and chronic conditions such as Diabetes and Obesity.

Working as a Clinical Health Educator at Kaiser Permanente is rewarding and enjoyable because it is a strong organization that provides multiple resources and on-line tools to help prevent and monitor health conditions which meets my philosophy of Health Education.

My philosophy is that if you are trying to prevent or monitor a chronic condition, Health Education is the key to a Healthy balanced lifestyle.

Welcome to Health Education.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
