My Biography

I grew up in Daly City, attended Boston University School of Medicine and was thrilled to return to the Bay Area for residency. I trained at UCSF where I had the opportunity to learn from many pioneers and leaders in the field of anesthesia. I have had the privilege of working for Kaiser Permanente since 2004, shortly after finishing my residency. I feel fortunate to be in the area I call home and to care for the people in this community.

As an anesthesiologist, I am here to support you through your surgical experience. I am committed to alleviating your concerns, caring for you during your surgery and creating a plan to minimize your postoperative pain. It is important for me to provide anesthetics that are not only most appropriate, but also most comfortable for you. My colleagues and I are dedicated to excellence through teamwork and we strive to optimize your care through the integration of services. From your preoperative visit to your postoperative management, every effort is made to ensure your safety and best outcome.

I am a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and California Society of Anesthesiologists.

When I am not at work, I spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy travel, photography, baking, walks through Golden Gate Park, and day trips along the Pacific Coast
