Welcome to my webpage and thank you for visiting.
I am excited to join the dynamic and talented team at Kaiser Permanente.
Emergency Medicine means being able to look after anyone, at any time, and to provide care with compassion and competence – a privilege and a challenge. A visit to the emergency department can be frightening; my priority is to make sure it isn’t.
Prior to arriving in Northern California, I practiced emergency medicine in Boston for two years. While there, I also worked internationally in refugee assistance, disaster training and capacity building in developing nations. My work has taken me to six continents, meeting wonderful people at every step along the way.
When not at work, I enjoy hiking, backpacking, travel and spending time with friends and family. I am excited to be living in Northern California, and look forward to getting to know the people and the area. Thank you again for visiting.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
