Welcome to my Home Page!

I came to Kaiser Permanente in 1995 to work for the Mental Health/Chemical Dependency Department in N. Cal. I worked first at the Vallejo and Pleasanton facilities before working here in Antioch, CA since 1999. I am responsible for the assessment, clinical coordination and psychiatric treatment of Adults with Anxiety, Depression, Dependencies, Work and Relationship Issues.

I am originally from Argentina where I received my first degree in Clinical Psychology in 1987 at JFK University in Buenos Aires. I trained originally in Psychoanalysis, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt Psychotherapy. Later in the US, I became interested in Brief Strategic Psychotherapy, Ericksonian Hypnotherapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

My work reflects all the techniques and cultural influences that I have been exposed to. I found that helping people understand what is happening to them, is the most therapeutic approach I can take for them. Once the person is fully aware how her mind and body are responding to their circumstances, they can better figure out what needs to happen to improve their lives.

I earned my MA in Clinical Psychology from The San Francisco School of Professional Psychology and my PhD from The Center for Psychological Studies.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
