Dr. Mala M. Adhikari was born and raised in India. She received her undergraduate education at Canara Junior College. Her medical education was completed at Gulbarga University Medical College in Karnataka, India in 1982. Dr. Adhikari received her United States residency training at UC Irvine Medical Center. In 2006, she completed a fellowship in Surgical Pathology at UC Los Angeles Medical Center. Dr. Adhikari is board certified by the American Board of Pathology. Dr. Adhikari’s professional interests include GI Pathology. On a personal note, she enjoys listening to music. In addition to English, Dr. Adhikari speaks Hindi and Kannada.
