Welcome to my Home Page
I started in the speech therapy field as a volunteer at the UCSF ALS Center, where I served patients with complex communication needs. My experience there had inspired me to become a speech therapist. Since then, I have completed my undergraduate and graduate program at San Francisco State University. I was an intern at the UCSF Voice and Swallowing Center, St. Francis Memorial Hospital, and Forbes Norris ALS Research Center at CPMC. Prior to joining the speech therapy department at South San Francisco Kaiser, I was a traveling speech therapist at Parkview Community Hospital in Riverside, CA.
I very much enjoy my work as a speech therapist because of the diverse patient population I serve and the ability to collaborate with various medical disciplines. I evaluate and treat mostly adults with impairments involving, speech, language, cognition, swallowing, and voice impairments.
I was born in Hong Kong and grew up in South San Francisco. While English is my primary language, I am also fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. During my free time, I enjoy playing badminton, cooking, dining out, traveling and spending time with my friends and family.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
