Welcome to my home page. Hopefully my page will not only tell you something about me but also supply you with some useful links about Physical Therapy.

I am a native of Long Island, New York and received my Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College, Ithaca, New York.I have practiced in California since 1971 and have been with Kaiser Permanente in Redwood City since February 1978. I have been working in the outpatient department treating a variety of patients including orthopedic, geriatric, spine, and I also teach several group classes.

I encourage my patients to be proactive in their rehabilitation. I am also the champion for the Department on the Smoking Cessation program at Redwood City. I am involved in the Falls Prevention class that is offered through the Health Education Department.

I enjoy working at Kaiser Permanente in Redwood City because of the continuing education opportunities, the professional stimulation from colleagues, and the positive spirit of the Physical, Occupational, and Speech Department.

When not caring for patients, I enjoy the outdoors, travelling both in the United States and abroad, love to go to the movies, theatre, symphony, and baseball( GO GIANTS!).

I have been a volunteer for Recording for the Blind, KQED public television in San Francisco, and the Humane Society of Silicon Valley. My greatest joy is being with animals, especially dogs and I get my exercise daily by walking my Golden Retriever, Daisy.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
