I am a Rheumatologist. I care for adults with arthritis and conditions related to joints and non-bony soft tissues of the body. There are over 100 such rheumatic disorders.

I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, where I completed most of my education. After completing my Rheumatology fellowship at the UC Davis Medical Center, I settled in Sacramento. I am married and have a son and a daughter. We enjoy the changing seasons and the many nearby activities.

I have worked for Kaiser Permanente since 1991. Working closely with multiple specialties in one medical group makes it easier to optimize the care for each of my patients. My goal is to form a partnership with my patients to educate, manage and guide them through their rheumatic condition.
