After working as a systems administrator for five years, I decided to become a physician and received my MD degree from UC San Diego. As a physician at South San Francisco Kaiser, I truly enjoy the challenges and responsibilities of the medical profession. Speaking Spanish as well as English, I find working with the Latino population to be particularly rewarding. I am interested in the newly emerging fields of telemedicine and online medical information and believe that in the future technology may significantly alter the way in which we practice medicine. Outside of work, I enjoy softball, reading, and gardening.
