I am a licensed clinical psychologist who works with children, adolescents and their families.

I graduated from the California School of Professional Psychology, San Diego, and interned at Children’s Hospital where my clinical focus was issues related trauma, anxiety and depression. I then completed my APA Pre-doctoral internship at South Shore Mental Health in the greater Boston area. There I began working with developmentally delayed and autistic adults and children conducting individual and family therapy as well as providing behavioral and family consultations and support plans.

In 2003, I completed my Post Doctoral Fellowship at Kaiser Permanente (Santa Clara) in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department. In 2004, I started working at the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Center at Kaiser. There I specialized in diagnosing ASD and participated in research projects in the community.

In April 2008, I came to the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department in Union City where I continue to work with families and children with autism as well as providing service for issues of depression, anxiety, educational issues, and parent/child counseling. I currently facilitate an on-going social skills group for children with ASD and co-facilitate a parent coaching group for parents with children with ASD.

In my free time, I enjoy travel, Pilates, going to the beach, and spending time with my dog and husband.

I am licenced by the California Board of Psychology (PSY-20160).
