I like being a psychologist because I enjoy working with people and helping them.

My practice philosophy is that I believe that it's important to respect the individual goals of my patients. I also strongly believe that while talking is important, action is even more important for change to occur.

I choose my specialty because in my career I have enjoyed working with children as well as adults. I chose to work with adults because they have more choices and therefore control over their lives.

I like working at Kaiser Permanente because I am very proud of the resources that I can offer my patients and the way that Kaiser coordinates care between Medicine and Psychiatry. We are truly an integrated system that takes care of the whole person. In fact, the people I work with in the Department of Psychiatry are like family to me.
