On June 4th, 2012 I will be moving to a new facility which will be located at 1263 E. Arques Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94085. It's only 4 miles northeast of our current Santa Clara Kaiser Drive Medical Offices and offers ample free parking. I'm hoping that my patients and families that I've come to know so well will follow me to our new facility.

My Practice Philosophy

I truly enjoy my profession and give each patient my personalized attention, caring for them as if they are a member of my family.

About Me

Before attending medical school, I spent a year at the University of Oxford in England where, as a Rotary Scholar, I obtained a diploma (equivalent to master’s coursework) in human biology. I then attended the University of Florida, College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida, where I received my medical degree in 1993. After medical school, I traveled back to my hometown of Jacksonville, Florida to do my internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Florida Health Science Center which I completed in 1997. Then venturing “far” from home, I went to the University of Alabama at Birmingham to complete a fellowship in Reproductive Biology and Infertility in 1999.

Before joining Kaiser in March of 2002, I worked for two and one half years in a community practice located in Jacksonville. I offered all aspects of advanced reproductive technologies to my patients from clomiphene citrate for ovulation induction to donor oocyte in vitro fertilization (IVF).

I am a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. I have co-authored two chapters in endocrinology textbooks and have been published in various medical journals, including Fertility and Sterility, the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Obstetrics and Gynecology. I am board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

I relocated to the west coast in 2002 and left a large family and many friends at home in Jacksonville. Although I visit them every summer, I now consider the Bay area to be my home.

My Interests

I enjoy spending time with my family, outdoors, swimming, exercising and most of all, traveling.

I want to be certain all of your concerns are addressed. If you forget to ask a question during your visit, please feel free to email me and I will return your message promptly.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
