Welcome!

Welcome and thank you for visiting my home page.

Background

I am a Bay Area native. I was born in San Francisco and raised in Cupertino. I received by undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at UC Davis. I received my physician assistant training and education at Duke University, where I received a Master’s degree in Health Sciences. After completing my physician assistant training, I worked in general/interventional cardiology for two years. I joined Kaiser’s electrophysiology group in 2009 due to my growing interest in cardiac arrhythmias and their treatments.

Clinical Interests

I have always had an interest in cardiac related processes since I started my formal education. Since I began my medical career, I have seen how cardiac treatments have continued to make advances, especially, in the field of electrophysiology. I enjoy learning about all cardiac arrhythmias, their treatments and the advances of the field.

Personal Interests

When I’m not working, I love being outdoors, spending time with my family and friends and trying new restaurants and foods.

Philosophy of Care

I believe in treating each patient individually, addressing his/her specific needs. I strongly believe in taking the time to educate patients about their condition(s) and the possible treatment(s) options, therefore allowing patient’s to make the best informed decisions regarding their health.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
