I am a native to California, although I also lived in southern Oregon for several years as a child. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders at Biola University in La Mirada, CA in 2005. I then attended a joint doctoral program at UC San Diego and San Diego State University, where I graduated with my doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) in 2010. I was fortunate to one of few graduates from the only graduate level Audiology program that is currently available in the state of California.

I completed my doctoral training as an intern when I began working for Kaiser Permanente in Santa Rosa, CA in 2009. Upon graduation, I transferred to the South Sacramento facility in July of 2010. It has been my pleasure to work for such an outstanding medical organization. I have a strong passion for working with and assisting individuals with hearing impairment. A personal family experience with hearing loss helps me to understand the challenges that face many individuals who also have difficulty hearing. I hope that I can be a helpful resource to you and your family, as you strive for healthy hearing.
