Thank you for visiting my homepage. I have been a part of Kaiser for about 8 years and I am happy to say that I am proud to be part of a leading institution in providing excellent chronic care management.

After graduating from the University of California, San Francisco School of Pharmacy in 1993, I furthered my education by completing a clinical pharmacy residency with emphasis in geriatrics from the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Healthcare System. I then began my practice as a clinical pharmacist in 1994. I am Board Certified by the California State Board of Pharmacy.

I strongly believe that preventative medicine is one of the most important components in managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia. Kaiser’s Chronic Care Management Program provides us with the perfect opportunity to do such. We work with our members as partners in achieving our goals, thereby preventing/decreasing risk of complications such as MI’s/strokes. I strongly believe in treating my patients the way I expect to be treated when I see a health care professional. As a result of this, my patients develop confidence and trust in me.

I am of Chinese decent, and because of this I am able to help our Asian population who often are very appreciative. In addition to English, I speak Cantonese and Mandarin fluently. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, traveling and arranging flowers.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
