About me

I choose medicine as a career because I am constantly amazed at how the human body can recover and regain function. I enjoy interacting with people, and participating in their recovery. I like working as a Physical Therapist in the inpatient setting because there are so many challenges, my day is never the same. It has helped me to appreciate how strong people can be, and what they can achieve, even when fighting a disease or recovering from a surgery.

I have been working at Kaiser Permanente for some time now, and I like how the different disciplines work so well together. We have different jobs, but we are all working hard for our patients.

My practice philosophy is to treat everyone as if they are family. If my family were admitted I would want them to get the best treatment possible, and that is what I try to do for my patients.

On a personal note, I enjoy hiking, playing tennis, reading, cooking and swimming in my time off.

My education and credentials:

Undergraduate Education BS in Physical Therapy from Fresno State University

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
