Welcome to my home page! I recently joined Kaiser Permanente and am excited to be part of a healthcare system that offers exceptional medical care in a teamwork environment.
Although I perform general radiology, my passion lies in Interventional Radiology. In IR, we use different modalities (CT, fluoro or Ultrasound) to perform minimally invasive surgeries. Some common procedures we do at our facility include fistulograms, venous access, uterine fibroid embolization, balloon angioplasty for peripheral vascular disease and kyphoplasty. These procedures lead to quicker recovery time and less pain for the patient compared to conventional surgery. You can find out more about the different types of procedures that we perform on the links on the left.
I am originally from Rockville, MD and majored in Biology and Spanish at Duke University (Go Blue Devils!). I stayed local at George Washington University in Washington DC for medical school and then made the transition to California for post medical training and have found it impossible to leave.
Outside of work, I am equally passionate about my many hobbies which include snowboarding, running, photography, biking, traveling, windsurfing, cooking, ethnic cuisine and networking/meeting new people.
Again, welcome. I look forward to helping you thrive by providing you with the best care possible!
Please visit the interventional radiology department website as well.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
