Thank you for visiting my home page.
I look forward to meeting you and participating in your care!
I grew up in San Diego, CA where I attended college at UCSD. Before starting my medical career, I worked as a youth mentor for AmeriCorps and volunteered with the Red Cross in Costa Rica. I completed my medical training at UCLA and at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles.
I chose Radiology as my specialty because I enjoy using imaging technology to diagnose and treat disease. Since I also had an interest in Women’s Health, I completed subspecialty training in Breast Imaging at UCLA.
Breast Imaging utilizes modalities such as Mammography and Ultrasound to detect and diagnose breast cancer. Breast imagers also work closely with primary care physicians, oncologists, and surgeons to manage and treat breast cancer.
I believe that healthcare is optimized by teamwork. For this reason, I strive to work in partnership with my patients and to help them make informed, yet personal decisions about their health.
I am honored to be a part of an exceptional network of physicians who share the common goal of providing high quality, comprehensive care for our patients.
In my spare time, I enjoy exploring the many outdoor activities that the bay area has to offer, traveling to new destinations, searching for great restaurants, and spending quality time with my husband, family, and friends.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
