I have always been interested in education and started out in college as a preschool teacher. Through college I became interested in nutrition and nutrition education. I went on to complete my Dietetic internship at the University of Iowa and became a Registered Dietitian. I still feel my roots as an educator have served me well.

Here at Kaiser Permanente, I have found the perfect mix of my love for education and nutrition working as a Diabetes and now PHASE Care Manager. We have the resources here to work together as a team with the member as captain and physician, nurse, dietitian, social worker, and staff as team supporters.

When I am not at work, you can find me on the jogging trails with my daughter. I love to run in marathons and triathlons and hope to do more racing now that my daughter is older.
