About Me

I earned my Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Chapman University, Orange, CA in 2000. In 2001, I joined Kaiser Permanente San Diego as a Physical Therapist. During my time in San Diego, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with a group of experienced and highly regarded physical therapists which greatly enhanced my clinical skills and knowledge in the field. In August 2005, I transferred to the Central Valley. Here I enjoyed working with a group of therapists who were very passionate and customer service oriented. In June 2009, I transferred to San Jose to be closer to family in the Bay Area. I am excited to be part of a high functioning clinic here in San Jose that offers excellent one-on-one care as well as groups that educate and rehabilitate patients. My personal hobbies include spending time with my family, sports, exercise, and learning more about my profession.

My Philosophy of Care

My approach to treat patients is with hands-on therapy and exercise. Throughout my career as a Physical Therapist, I have taken several hands-on continuing education courses to strengthen my skills and knowledge as a Manual Physical Therapist. I evaluate each patient individually based on clinical signs and symptoms and design a treatment plan that aims to specifically target the structure(s) at fault. My interests in physical therapy are in outpatient orthopedics and neurological rehabilitation.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
