I am originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, but moved to Fresno in 2000. I began my work at Kaiser Permanente as an intern in the Mental Health Department. After that I was able to stay for my post-doctorate Residency and was subsequently hired on as a permanent staff member. I currently work in both the Adult Psychiatry Department, as well as the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). I do individual and group therapy, as well as psychological assessments. I strive to help others realize their strengths and help them find hope in the midst of trying circumstances. I encourage clients to challenge their thoughts, as this has a great impact on the way people feel. I also stress the importance of relaxation and exercise. I love working with an array of individuals, and find that in working with others, I also learn a great deal about myself.

When I am not working, I love learning about different cultures and working with a diverse population.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
