This web page is intended to provide some information about me, together with some information about Diagnostic Imaging services, and to provide resources that can hopefully address questions you may have about upcoming tests or procedures.

My Biography

My practice philosophy is being committed to providing our patients with the highest quality of care. To place the patient first. And to also strive to provide timely access to our services.

I have been a TPMG physician since finishing my fellowship in neuroradiology in 1982.

I like practicing medicine in the Kaiser Permanente Medical Group as our practice model allows us to make decisions regarding what is best for our patients without being influenced by issues of personal financial gain.

Diagnostic radiology is a diverse field, encompassing interpretation of plain films, barium studies, ultrasound, CT, MRI, mammography, and including a wide range of interventional procedures from biopsies, drainage procedures and angiography, to complex therapeutic procedures. The panel on the left contains links to these different procedures obtained from the Health Encyclopedia, which is a very comprehensive general medical information source. However, bear in mind that this information is of a general nature, and the study or procedure that you may undergo may vary in some details. At the bottom of the “Learn more about Radiology” page is a link to the RSNA “Radiology Info” web site, which is a joint patient information project by the Radiological Society of North America and the American College of Radiology.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
