About me

During one semester in college I decided to volunteer at a hospital in their Physical Therapy Department. That was when I fell in love with therapy and knew that I wanted to choose this as my career.

What I enjoy most about my work is that at the end of every day I know that I have made a change for the better in someone’s life. Also, Kaiser Permanente has a wealth of knowledgeable team members who I can depend on. I practice Physical Therapy with an understanding that every patient is different in so many ways. I like to listen to my patients and work with them to make gains toward their own personal goals. I have special interests in teaching core stabilization and pilates-based exercise.

When I am not at work I enjoy going out with my family or friends for an evening of dinner and a movie. I am also on a bocce ball team and I am an excellent ping-pong player as well.

My education and credentials:

Undergraduate Education BS in Kinesiology from San Francisco State University
Graduate Education DPT from Samuel Merritt College, Oakland

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
