Why I Chose Gastroenterology

I chose gastroenterology for its multifaceted approach to patient care. The field satisfies my intellectual curiosity with new opportunities and challenges on a daily basis. In gastroenterology, I can use skills of problem solving, communication, and patient management. I enjoy working with a wide diversity of patients, from the adolescent to the elderly.

My Philosophy of Practice

I believe patients are in control of their health. My role is to provide a medical opinion, explain the available options, and allow patients to make an informed decision to take steps to improve their health.
