About Me

I am a California Native born and raised in Northern California. I have been a Registered Nurse (RN) since 1983 and a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) since 1993.

Ever since graduating from the University of California at Berkeley with an undergraduate degree in Psychology, I have been interested in patient focused nursing care. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from St. Louis University in 1983 and have worked in various nursing roles including eight years as an Intensive Care Nurse at the University of California at San Francisco.

Furthering my nursing career, I received a Master of Science in Anesthesia Nursing (MSN) at Rush University in Chicago and was certified as a CRNA by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.

I have worked in the Anesthesia Department of Kaiser Vallejo since 1993. I love working with our patient members and continue to enjoy my practices of nursing and nursing anesthesia.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
