Welcome to my home page!

I am pleased to offer this web site as a means to provide helpful medical information for my patients, as well as an opportunity for you to learn more about me. I hope that through this medium I will be able to better serve you with the most current information, useful handouts, and helpful web links.

I joined Kaiser in September 2003. It was my first job out of residency and I have very much enjoyed living in Northern California and working at Kaiser. I believe that the Kaiser system is the best in the world. I am a big believer in preventative medicine and think that exercise, diet and easy things like wearing seat belts and not smoking are the keys to longevity. Prior to medical school I attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN where I majored in Chemistry and minored in Art History.

I am proud to be a member of such a outstanding department and medical group here at Kaiser Permanente, and I hope that we can always provide high quality care and service to you.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
