Thank you for taking the time to visit my home page.

I was born in Georgia and spent most of my early childhood living in Panama and Germany. Eventually, my family settled in Rocklin where I lived until I left for college. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Molecular Biology. I moved to Chicago to attend medical school at Loyola Stritch Medical School where I was elected into the AOA (Alpha Omega Alpha) honors medical society. After braving the Chicago weather for four years, I returned to Sacramento to complete my residency and Fellowship in Cardiology. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2001.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time enjoying my husband and three children. I also enjoy running, skiing or relaxing with a good book.

I look forward to seeing you in my office soon.

My Credentials

Medical school Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, Chicago, Maywood, IL
Residency UC Davis Medical Center, Sacramento, CA
Fellowship UC Davis Medical Center, Sacramento, CA
Board certification Cardiovascular Disease, American Board of Internal Medicine

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
