My Biography

I learned about Kaiser Permanente and its unique health care model while completing an internship here at San Francisco Medical Center. Having all providers under one integrated medical model results in invaluable dividends for the patient. Kaiser offers an excellent array of preventative programs, as well as numerous exercise classes through our Health Education department.

As a physical therapist, I work closely with physicians to coordinate patient care. I enjoy educating both patients and other Kaiser employees on the use and importance of proper ergonomics in the workplace. I also have a special interest in orthopedics.

During my spare time I like to play with my childern, garden, paint oils and watercolors, hike in the Marin Headlands, and travel. Some of my most memorable visits have been to Honduras, Vietnam, Peru, and Tahiti.

I THRIVE by eating organic fruits and vegetables, walking in Golden Gate Park, and relaxing at the beach.

Undergraduate Education: BA in Ecological Sciences, University of California at Santa Barbara

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
