About Me

I am a native of San Francisco and have had the privilege of practicing at Kaiser Permanente since 2003. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, I had been in private practice and had served in the armed forces treating military personnel, including retirees, and their dependents. I enjoy applying my interest in the life sciences to help others. To stay abreast of new developments in the profession, I maintain contact with my alma mater as a life member of the University of California, Berkeley, Optometry Alumni Association.

My Education and Credentials

Undergraduate Education: B.S. School of Optometry, University of California, Berkeley
Optometric Education: O.D. School of Optometry, University of California, Berkeley
Graduate Education: MBA California State University, Hayward
Board Certification: California Board of Optometry, Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents

My personal interests include reading, camping, computers, photography, traveling, and spending time with my family to include our dog.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
