Welcome to my Home Page

This website is designed to offer you some information about me and our clinic, as well as some tips for a healthier lifestyle. On the left side of the page are some links that you may find helpful and interesting.

I was raised in the Bay Area and graduated with a B.A. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of California at Berkeley. I completed my Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of California at San Francisco in 1996 and followed it with a Residency in Pharmacy practice at the VA Palo Alto Health Care Systems.

I have worked at Kaiser Permanente since 1997. My experience here includes a variety of work taking care of patients in the diabetes care management program, hypertension care management program, and the anticoagulation clinic. I am a certified diabetes educator and I also spend some time training UCSF Pharmacy Students. Working at Kaiser Permanente has been an enjoyable experience because of the supportive environment and team based approach to patient care.

When I am not in the office, I enjoy being a mom to 2 small boys and all the adventures that come with it.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
