My Specialty and Why I Chose It

I am a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. This means I see women of all ages for preventative care, problem management and obstetrical care. I specialize in adolescent medicine because I love working with teens.

My Practice Philosophy

I have always been dedicated to Women's Health because I love to empower women. I believe in open, direct communication and am very non-judgmental. My goal is to provide women with information so each person can decide the best plan to suit her own needs. I love working with teens. I know it seems crazy, but adolescent girls are amazing. I hope to provide these girls with confidence to make healthy choices.

My Tenure with Kaiser Permanente

I have worked with the Kaiser Permanente team since 1997. I believe Kaiser Permanente is innovative and dedicated to the members we serve.

I enjoy working here because the entire staff functions as a team. We have one common goal and that is to provide the best care possible to our members.

Professional Interest & Affiliations

I have been awarded the title of "expert" in my field and take pride in the care I give.

On a Personal Note. . .

I work 3 days/week. I find this to be the perfect balance between work and home. When I'm not working at Kaiser Permanente, I love scrap booking, photography and watching my 3 kids in all their events. My husband and I are avid fans of our two sons who are devoted baseball players. Additionally, our daughter keeps us busy playing "the sport of the season".

Be sure to visit the Kaiser Permanente Website for additional information regarding appointments, prescriptions, health education classes and other health-related topics. You can also click on my department link above to receive additional health information.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
