About my home page
Thank you for visiting my home page. I view this page as a nice way to introduce myself and point my patients to some Internet health care resources that I believe to be reliable. From this page you can schedule appointments, you can refill prescriptions, and for information on specific medical topics you can use our Health Encyclopedia.
About Me
I was born in the Philippines but grew up in San Francisco. I've had the privilege of practicing at Kaiser Permanente since 1991. I'm a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the American Nurses Association, and the California Coalition of Nurse Practitioners.
As a health care provider, I believe in providing a holistic approach to the way I give care to my patients. That means when we're in clinic together, I will try to take into account your physical, mental, and emotional status and partner with you on a plan to maintain or improve your health and well being. I also believe in being an advocate for patient needs, so I enjoy practicing outpatient medicine because I can see the good that I do. And I like working for Kaiser Permanente because their system provides me the tools to provide high quality patient care.
On a personal note, I'm a mother of two young children who keep me busy when I'm not at work. I enjoy spending time with my family and when I have time to myself I enjoy reading and photography.
I am also bilingual - I speak Tagalog.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
