Welcome to My Internet Home Page
I am proud to be a member of such an outstanding department and the medical group at Kaiser Permanente Central Valley. I hope that we can always provide the best possible quality of care and service to you.
About Me
I was born in Cambodia and grew up in San Jose, CA. My pursuit of medicine began at the University of California, Davis in which I received my bachelor degree in physiology. I worked for a few years as a chemist at which I participated in the development of a drug delivery device. Then I enrolled at Saint George’s University, School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies where I obtained my medical degree. I then returned to California and completed my first two years of internal medicine residency at San Joaquin General Hospital in Stockton, CA. Subsequently, I transferred to New York to pursue my passion in the field of anesthesiology at Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center, Manhattan, NY.
I wanted to become a doctor because I wanted to utilize my interest in science and medicine to helping people. Kaiser Permanente is a well established organization where it provides high standard of quality care and efficient way of patient management. By staying in the Central Valley, I can be close to my family who still reside in Sacramento and Bay Area. At my leisure, I enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, water rafting and fishing. Besides English, I speak fluent Cambodian.
My Philosophy of Care
I treat people the way I like to be treated. Hence, under my care, the patient will receive the utmost respect, diligent care and most importantly, safety during their procedure.
Our entire Anesthesiology Department and I want to be certain that all of your concerns are addressed. If you forget to ask a question during your pre-operative office visit, please call (209) 476-3633.
