About Me

Working for Kaiser Permanente has been a fantastic experience. The access to the various medical specialties and close follow-up of our Kaiser Permanente members with their primary physicians is very good. With the recent addition of computerized consultations and prescriptions, Kaiser Permanente has improved healthcare and streamlined patient care for our members. I find it very impressive that this organization is continuously improving and incorporating technologies to provide high quality healthcare for our members.

Here is a little about myself. . . I was born in Los Angeles, California and aspired to become a physician at the age of five after my mother passed away. I attended medical school and did residency training in Chicago, Illinois. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2000, and I have enjoyed it immensely. Practicing Emergency Medicine with such fine colleagues has been rewarding.

I am a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. When I am away from the hospital, I cherish my quiet time off. I enjoy my hobbies of home audio and video and aftermarket modifications of automobiles and electronic equipment. I also visit Southern California frequently.

I hope that your health is well, but if you should require Emergency services, then I am committed to providing you with thorough and compassionate care in a timely manner. I am also available to speak Cantonese and understand "yut dien dien" Mandarin should you require it at the Manteca, Richmond and Oakland facilities when I am working.

Thank you for visiting my Home Page!

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
