Welcome to my practice

I am very excited to be working at Kaiser Permanente, San Jose in the Physical Therapy Department. I chose physical therapy as my profession because of my interests in the medical field and I enjoy working with people to assist them through their road to recovery.

My Background

I joined Kaiser Permanente, San Jose in November of 2008 after graduating from Samuel Merritt University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in August of 2008. Throughout my physical therapy education I did affiliations and internships at hospitals in the area including; Valley Medical Center, Palo Alto VA Hospital and Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula. I received my Bachelors of Science with an emphasis of Exercise Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2003. I grew up in the south bay and have been a Kaiser member since 1988. I am very happy to be back in the area and part of this team.

My Interests

My interests outside of physical therapy include playing and coaching water polo, downhill skiing, traveling with my husband and playing outdoors with my dog, Odin.

My Recommendations

Exercising, eating healthy and making good, safe decisions will lead to a better lifestyle. Always remember laughter is the best medicine of all.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
