Welcome to My Home Page!
I enjoy people of all ages and a good story, and fortunately, the work I do here at Kaiser Permanente lets me have lots of access to both. I have been a therapist here in Walnut Creek for 12 years working with children, adolescents, adults and families. During this time I have worked with children and families dealing with ADHD, Tourettes, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disabilities, Bipolar, Anxiety, Depression, OCD, the stresses of being a member of a family as well as the stress of trying to raise healthy children. I helped design and develop the group program we have here for kids, parents and teens and believe strongly in the value of groups.
I work from a strengths perspective using Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectic Behavioral therapy, Narrative therapy, Family Systems work, psychoeducational work and humor! Successful therapy provides people with a safe relationship in which to explore their inner world and to consider taking risks to make their life and relationships work better in the external one.
I am blessed with a wonderful family and a great assortment of friends. I enjoy spending time with them.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
