How to Use My Home Page...

My Biography

I enjoy working at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco because I get to see a diverse patient population and provide primary care every day. An added bonus is the tremendous educational opportunities available to me here. I can remain apprised of developments, on a consistent basis, regarding new treatments and governmental guidelines. Another aspect of the Kaiser model that I found really attractive was the ability to contact any specialist that may be needed and--on the same day--have the specialist consult with patients.

There are a host of really smart, talented colleagues here. I learn something new every day! One of my favorite things about Kaiser San Francisco is the collegial atmosphere amongst providers. I like interacting with patients and getting to know them and their families on a personal basis. I originally trained with Kaiser Redwood City before coming to San Francisco, so I am not a newcomer to the Kaiser family.

Areas of special interest include Web page maintenance, which includes helping our module’s home pages look their best, and being a superuser for Health Connect.

I love dogs, and I own two of them, both were rescued dogs. I thrive in many ways: spending time with family and friends, reading, and surfing the fount of knowledge known as the Internet!

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
