Welcome to My Home Page!

My career as a certified registered nurse anesthetist began with Kaiser Permanente in Portland, Oregon in 2005 upon graduating from The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas. I spent the better part of my life there with an opportunity to obtain a great education and apply my training in a world renown medical community.

My background consists of a bachelor of science degree from Houston Baptist University which lead me into oncology research at MD Anderson Cancer Center. From that point, I became interested in patient care and pursued a baccalaureate degree in nursing at The Texas Woman's University in Houston specializing in Neonatal ICU. Ultimately, the desire to pursue an advanced clinical nursing specialty lead to a master of science degree in nurse anesthesia.

I previously lived in the bay area during my senior year of high school. It has always been a goal of mine to return and settle into a practice allowing me to grow professionally and personally. Diablo Service Area's Anesthesia Department works collaboratively to provide a service and support to its patients as well as each other. This environment of teamwork and mutual respect within such a large and complex facility is a pleasure to be a part of.

Why would you want to live and work in any other part of the states than here? My free time allows me to travel world wide and engage in sports such as scuba diving, trekking, skiing and sight seeing. When I am home, it is the wine country, mountains and coast I retreat to.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
