My Philosophy of Care:

I believe a physician’s role is not only to make the correct diagnosis and offer the best available treatments to their patients; it is also to educate patients regarding their medical conditions so they can participate and make informed decisions regarding their care.

About Me:

I was born in Taiwan and grew up in South Pasadena, a small suburb of Los Angeles. I attended U.C. Berkeley for my undergraduate education in Molecular and Cell Biology. I graduated from Western University, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in 2005. After medical school, I joined Kaiser Permanente for my residency training.

My professional interest is providing quality in-patient medicine. When I am not at the hospital helping patients, I enjoy spending my time drawing, dancing and traveling. In addition to English, I speak Mandarin Chinese.

My Credentials

Medical school Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona, CA
Residency Kaiser Foundation Hospital, Santa Clara, CA
Board certification Internal Medicine, American Board of Internal Medicine

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
